Sunday, 20th May “ A Celebration of Wool ”
Meet craftspeople from Canberra, the region and interstate to see the amazing things they create with wool.
Why visit? To meet and speak to wool producers, craftspeople and artists, view hand spinning, learn about hand felting, watch people weaving and try on handmade woollen garments. Mix with stallholders, craft enthusiasts and other visitors who love to knit, felt, design and make home wares.
Stallholders and items you’ll find: Hand felted garments and accessories, designer knitwear, millinery, weavings, funky beanies and farm label knitwear. A vast array of woollen yarns, including hand spun and hand dyed yarns. Stock up on woollen hats, scarves and socks in time for winter.
Sunday, 17th June “ Kids in the Shed ”
Find your inner child or just enjoy this family day out for children, parents and grandparents.
Why visit? For the markets’ lively atmosphere and the buzzing energy levels of all the kids alone! With lots of entertainment, face painting, yummy things to eat, and stacks of products especially for kids, the place teems with little ones having loads of fun.
Stallholders and items you’ll find: Bright, funky, modern and wearable handmade clothes for little boys and girls, the latest and grooviest accessories, handcrafted toys, artworks for kids’ rooms and much more.
