Textile and fibre artists from around the Canberra region gather to exhibit and sell their superbly crafted art pieces and products. Visitors will be able to speak with artists and craftspeople who weave, embroider, design and execute knitted garments, make lace, create basketry, hand dye and hand block fabrics, and felt homewares and accessories. Colour, texture and design will be a focus for the day. Textile groups will be on hand to talk to visitors about what their classes and programs involve.
