There are not many stallholders who can say they’ve only missed one market in the 17 years we’ve been running. But Brian Loader can.

Canberra based, Brian is passionate about quality food having been in the food game since 1968. Having previously run his own restaurant for 17 years, Brian started selling cheese wholesale to other restaurants then turned to the Old Bus Depot Markets to turn over his stock. Due to the popularity of his products, the markets then became Brian’s primary business and he’s a very enthusiastic market supporter, attending each week with his range of boutique farmhouse cheeses, olives, sausages and European dried goods including nuts and dried fruit.

His charcuterie stand always pulls a crowd with cheeses available next to his Beau olives and dried fruit and nuts which are always popular. Brian is at the markets every Sunday of the year, and will also be there for the Christmas Markets both Saturdays and Sundays leading up to Christmas.
